Marchesa’s Inferno_collection

The starting point of this collection is the painting created by the artist Giovanni Boldini in 1908 for Marquise Luisa Casati, an emblematic figure of that period.  The Marchesa’s Inferno collection refers to the eccentricity of the style adapted by the Marquise Cassati, a real departure from the usual patterns of the society customs of the 1910s. This collection can be defined by opulence, stylistic madness and ferocity, words that can also describe the unexpected  ways in which the Marquise amazed people with her apparitions that shocked not only because of the outfit, but because of style as a whole, as she was sometimes wearing nothing but a fur coat, while walking the domestic cheetahs.

Conserving the rebellious spirit of the Marquise, the collection aims to spread the “Inferno” of the Marquise, an uncrowned queen of a “sublime underworld”, and to inspire its public to escape from the leash that the society imposes nowadays.

The collection also has 8 styling suggestions.
